still vacationing and visiting with my mom

Sorry, lame, lame blogger here. I have returned from our French Riviera and Switzerland vacation, but we then left for Vienna. Now, we are back. But, now we both have colds (my mom and I). We have been having a nice visit, not too hectic, except for our trips.

We also celebrated Mom's and Franco's birthdays. And my brother, Catherines, Zia Giuli and Maria Teresa all had birthdays in September.

My friend Kim (from Bergamo/Canada) is engaged now! She was here visiting Filipo, although I didn't get to see her while she was in Bergamo.

I was contacted by an American expat, Rebecca, who lives nearby, too! I can't wait to meet her. I will call her, and set up a get together, once my mom leaves.

I have lots of photos to sort through, and will do some write-ups on our trips, after my mom leaves.

What little time I spend online, I have been writing on my PUMA site. I have lost a few readers, because of it. Apparently not loving Obama is not allowed in some circles.... haha

OK, well, sorry for the short post. I promise to be back with knitting and travels real soon.
Ciao!

Hi Sara,
Thanks for mentioning me in your other blog, I appreciate it. I would delete those comments and do as you did and turn off Anoy comments too. Unfortunately, you see, when I try to create an account, the language switches to German (probably because of the IP address). I'll have to ask hubby to translate for me to create an account, in order to post a comment. I'll keep reading but as a midwesterner, I find it idiotic that someone would resort to calling you names and cussing at you just because they disagree. How childish.
I may not agree with your voting choice, but that doesn't mean I've ever post comments that flamed you. That's just stupid. They need to go to forums and post that crap.
Hang in there. Don't take S*&t from anybody. I wouldn't.

I know, I get so irritated when sites automatically switch to italian.. haha It is easier now, but I used to be lost! there is a way to select english when you register - try looking at the bottom of the page? I forget now.

It is RIDICULOUS how angry and rude people get... I can understand getting irritated, and not liking what I say, but they are making flat out attacks. At LEAST have the guts to insult me without hiding anonymously! hahah

have a good day!

For some reason I can't leave a comment on your other blog. Anyways, thanks for your research and your daily doses of truth. Anyone who reads any of this ought to know he's clearly unfit for the job. So, why are so many people supporting him? I don't get it!

Hi!
I'm new to this blog, and I've never seen anyone write 'expat' before.

I googled it, and it came back as 'expatriate', is that right?
